1.Multi-window Support

In Android 7.0, introducing a new and much-requested multitasking feature into the platform — multi-window support.

2.Notification Enhancements

4.More Quick Settings options

Quick Settings is a popular and simple way to expose key settings and actions, directly from the notification shade. In Android 7.0, we've expanded the scope of Quick Settings to make it even more useful and convenient.

5.Number Blocking
Android 7.0 now supports number blocking in the platform. The default SMS app, the default phone app, and carrier apps can read from and write to the blocked-number list. The list is not accessible to other apps.

6.Improved file browser
In Android 7.0 While the integrated file browser is still hidden under the Storage>Explore menu, it now gives you more file options than simply copying, and has a handy side menu for faster navigation.

7.Improved Google keyboard
In Android 7.0 Google keyboard is also getting some new features in Android N. The search giant is bringing new themes for the keyboard, which users can further customize by adding or removing borders between keys or by adding colours. Android N also includes new emoji characters that are Unicode 9 certified.

8.Better battery life
Doze, a feature that was introduced with Android Marshmallow, is getting a few improvements of its own with Android 7.0. In Nougat, Doze will work not only when your phone is not in use, but also when the screen is turned off. This is expected to improve the battery life of devices running on the latest version of Google’s mobile OS.

9.Performance

Google’s new Android release has adopted a new graphics API called Vulkan which promises to deliver greater visual performance. With an introduction to new JIT compiler, Google claims it will improve battery life and will result in apps that can be 50 percent smaller while installing 75 percent faster.

10.New Emoji support

Google will introduce some new sets of emojis in the Nougat release of Android.
