Xiaomi Launched two new affordable smartwatches Amazfit Sports Smartwatch 2 & Amazfit Watch 2S

Huami (A Xiaomi subsidiary) launches its two new generation Sports Smartwatch, With different prices and features One is the Amazfit Sports Smartwatch 2 and second is the Amazfit Sports Smartwatch 2S.

Both the smartwatches come with Xiaomi’s custom OS can be connected to smartphones running on Android 4.4 and above and iOS 9.0 or above. Both the budget smartwatches are powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.The wearable also sports a 1.34-inch touchscreen display with 2.5D tempered sapphire glass with a resolution of 320 x 300pixels and has a 2.5D tempered glass on top, a built-in GPS, optical heart rate sensor and rubber straps.It also features a 3D laser carbon fiber body and a polycarbonate case made more robust with a glass. 

Both variants have the IP67-certification and are water-proof up to a depth of 50 meters. In fact, the watch recognizes if you are in open water or not, which is something we have not seen to date. In total, there are 11 built-in sports profiles including a new mountaineering mode, as well as some more advanced Firstbeat performance metrics such as Vo2Max, Training Effect and more.The 2S has a more premium build, it features a 2.5D sapphire crystal top and a stronger leather strap instead of the rubber strap in the base variant.The watch has several sensors and trackers which can keep track of activities such as swimming, walking, running, running outdoors, running on a treadmill, mountaineering, open-water swimming, and more. 

In terms of price, The Amazfit Watch 2 is priced at CNY 999 around ₹9,750 and Watch 2S is priced at 1,499 around ₹14,600.
