In MWC 2018, Nokia has launched five new phones. There is a feature phone one of theme and all the other are smartphones. All phones support 4G Network. Nokia has named the feature phone Nokia 8110. Key features of the Nokia 8110 4G include access to Google and Facebook apps, the option to create a hotspot, and a global average price of EUR 79 (roughly Rs. 6,285).
Nokia 1
One of these phones is based on Android Go OS, which is named Nokia 1 and Nokia says that these phones are for people who want to update from feature phones to smartphones.Nokia 1, running the lightweight Android Go software designed for developing nations where connectivity is at a premium, and the specs aren't quite as premium. Available from early April, with a choice of clip-on covers, the Nokia 1 will be retailing for an average of $85 (or approx Rs 5500). The specs reflect that price – a MediaTek MT6737M chipset is paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, while the 4.5-inch display has just an 854x480 pixel resolution. There's a 5 MP camera around the back.
Nokia 6
The next one is the new Nokia 6, as distinct from last year’s Nokia 6. For starters, it has got a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display, a Snapdragon 630 processor, either 3 or 4GB RAM, and 32GB or 64GB storage. The battery capacity remains the same at 3000mAh and 16-megapixel rear camera. It also has Zeiss optics on the camera and has the infamous Nokia Bothie – more formally called Dual-Sight technology – which shoots front and rear cameras simultaneously and pairs the resultant shots together. The new Nokia 6 will go on sale in early April for a price of Eur 279 (or approx Rs 22,196).
Nokia 7 Plus
Next is a brand new Nokia 7 Plus the premium mid-end segment smartphone sports a 6-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 18:9, a Snapdragon 660 processor, dual Carl Zeiss-branded 12MP + 13MP cameras, and a 3800mAh battery. There’s a “bothie” camera feature that allows for simultaneous capture from the front and rear cameras. The supercharged version of the Nokia 7 will be made available sometime in April at a price of Eur 399 (or approx Rs 31,734).
Nokia 8
The Last one is Nokia 8 Sirocco, a special edition of last year’s Nokia 8 with a curved display, edges which are machined so they’re just 2mm thick at the edges, wireless charging, and a strong stainless steel frame. The Nokia 8 Sirocco has a dual curved P-OLED display with minimal bezels and intriguing design. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, a 3260mAh battery, 12MP+13MP dual cameras, a 5MP front camera, IP67 water and dust resistant, and Android Oreo out of the box. Nokia 8 Sirocco is priced at Eur 749 (or approx Rs 59,589) and will be made available in early April.
